County Meath earned it's nickname, The Royal County, from having a deep seated history with Irish High Kings.

From Brú na Bóinne to The Mountain of the Sorceress, Meath has it's fill of historical and mythical landmarks

Built by the Anglo-Norman lord, Hugh de Lacy, Trim Castle is one of the most impressive remaining medieval castles on the island of Ireland today.

Here you will learn about the men and women who built and lived in the castle, as well as the deep history surrounding the town.  You will even have an opportunity to take a quiz and test your knowledge of what you have learned.
